GAME DESCRIPTION
Astral Blitz is a rogue-lite, twin stick shooter. Control your fighter ship and wreak devastation through the hordes of empire defenses. Create your own play style as you customize your ship to your needs, setting it up for brutal destruction, refined precision, or to become chaos incarnate!
STUDIO & GAME HISTORY
Spirit Forged Studios was co created by Daniel Higgins and Laurence Brown in 2025. The pair met during their time at Sheffield Hallam University through a game jam and have been working on small projects as hobbies ever since.
The studios debut game started its production at the end of 2024, and is slated to release in Q2 of 2026.
GAME FEATURES
- Astral Blitz is a single player rogue-lite
- Customise your ship to fit your unique play style. Collect scrap and ship parts from fallen enemies, and use these to acquire permanent ship upgrades.
- Combat enemies in short intense waves, as you warp towards the empires mother-ship and attempt to take your freedom back.
- Collect and evolve upgrades, special abilities, and ultimate abilities that are unique to every run.
- A diverse array of enemies, and bosses to combat. Each with unique abilities, stats, weapons, and attack patterns.
- A wide variety of starting weapons, each presenting their own play style and attack patterns.
- Stat tracking to let you see all you have accomplished at the end of each run, and in total across a save file
- Multiple save files are supported
